This Saturday morning started early about 5:30. I was volunteering for bountiful Baskets. The produce was beautiful. I stayed to help after the first hour because we did not get our baskets again, so cardboard boxes come in handy.
After I got home I got my veggies cut up and in steamer bags for the week and, decided to make a steamer bag omelet. Best use of fresh veggies ever! Worst picture ever, but you get the idea .
The ingredients are
- 3 egg whites,
- 2 whole eggs
- green squash
- yellow squash
- bell pepper
- salsa for flavor
- cook for 5 minutes
After my Bountiful Baskets endeavor it was time to run a 5k with the hubby. I think we can run some 5k’s together, get out of the house and enjoy the day. Obviously the hubby thinks NATURE! GET IT OFF ME!!! To say it did not go smoothly would be an understatement.
- I sounded like a freight train, my allergies and asthma were so bad. Breathing was not fun all day yesterday.
- I am not a fast runner–hubby says you think so?!?! (that was with sarcasm). We finish and I go to get the dog some water and he climbs in the truck.
- “Don’t you want to see your time” I ask? No, says the hubby that time was horrible. Wow, I feel even better about running now.
I have bought him running shoes and shorts, so he does not wear jeans-he has before. I figure somehow I am going to have to get faster. How? any ideas?
